Q: How do I make an appointment for the U.S. Consulates in Mexico?
A: Click here to book an appointment

Q: I do not have the Banamex DD Visa fee payment, can I pay it inside the U.S. Consulate?
A: The U.S. Consulate does not accept banamex DD visa fee payments, you must pay it prior the appointment at the nearest banamex bank.

Q: Can you make the appointment for me?
A: No, you have to set your own appointment.

Q: Can we take our children with us for the stamping even though they are US citizens?
A: Yes you can. Parents with young children usually enter first through the consulate doors. The US consulate may require to show proof that they are indeed your children so please have their passports handy.

Q: What should I bring for my child(ren) who is/are a US citizens? Do they require a permit to enter Mexico?
A: They only need their passport. You can also bring them food and clothes.

Q: What documents do I need for my interview?
A: We have a section “document requirements” which will give you a good idea of what you need. To be safe and 100% please visit your immigration lawyer.

Q: Do I get a refund if I decide to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
A: No. We do not issue refunds once we have begun processing your paperwork. The U.S. Consulate clearly states that the visa application fee is non-refundable, therefore, if we make that deposit for you, we can not refund that either. Please send the documents once you are sure you are coming down.

Q: What happens if I need to reschedule my appointment?
A: The visa application fee receipt will be valid for up to one year at any US consulate in Mexico. We may have to register you as a visitor once more at an additional cost of $50.00. Please get with us on this as soon as possible. We will do our best to work with you.

Q: What happens if I get rejected? Will I be allowed back into the U.S.?
A: It all depends with the interviewing officer. We can’t guarantee what they will say. You can apply for a visa waiver at the port-of-entry for $265.00. You may also ask the consulate to let you in for a short period of time to gather your belongings. If for some reason you are not allowed to come back in, we will take you to the nearest hotel and help you in any way possible. We will pick up your luggage from the U.S. hotel and take it to you, return the rental car if we have to, buy clothes for you if needed, and apply for the departure permit if needed.

Q: How long will the whole process take?
A: it usually takes 1-2 days but we have no way of knowing

Q: Is it necessary to obtain a Mexican entry document? Why
A: Yes. Unless you are a U.S. citizen or Canadian citizen, you are required by Mexican authorities to obtain an entry document to enter legally. Also, as our clients, we are responsible for your legal entry into Mexico. We are liable for fines and/or punishment from the Mexican government if we transport anyone without it. Please remember that in Mexico it is your (our) responsibility to report at the Mexican Immigration upon entering. You will have proof that you reported once you have your entry document stamped. The entry document is more of a precaution in case anything goes wrong. We can make all the necessary arrangements for an extension or departure in case it is needed.

Q: Once I obtain my visa, am I guaranteed return to the U.S.?
A: The U.S. Immigration Office has the final say as far as your return into the U.S. We have not encountered any problems yet with clients at the US Immigration once they have obtained the US visa.

Q: Where do you pick up? What time?
A: We will be at the Days Inn & Suites Laredo / Motel 6 Brownsville at 6:30 and will leave at 6:45.

Q: What issues have you come about?
A: A very small percentage of applicants get refused: forgetting documents, DWI, out of status, people having to go through extra security clearances which may take up to 3 weeks. Every issue like this has been resolved one way or another in either 1 day to 3 weeks. We ask that you please come prepared.
